In Mumbai

Morning, enjoy a half day tour of: Gateway of India – The stone archway designed by Wittett in the 16th century. Visit Elephanta Caves 5.6 miles by sea, these 7th century rock – cut temples are dedicated to Lord Shiva. Also visit Prince of Wales Museum, dhobi Ghat, drive past marine drive. Overnight at hotel

Mumbai - Aurangabad

Transfer to airport for fly to Aurangabad. On arrival, check in into hotel. The day will be left free to explore the beautiful & serene surroundings of Aurangabad.

Afternoon you will proceed for an excursion to Ajanta caves. Ajanta is world’s greatest historical monument recognised by UNESCO far near from Jalgaon city of Maharashtra, India. There are 30 caves in Ajanta of which 9,10,19,26 and 29 are chaitya-grihas and the rest are monasteries. These caves were discovered in AD 1819 and were built up in the earlier 2nd century BC-AD. Most of the paintings in Ajanta are right from 2nd century BC-AD and some of them about the fifth century AD and continued for the next two centuries. The Buddhist caves of Ajanta predate those of Ellora, so if you want to see the caves in chronological order, you should first visit Ajanta. Return back to hotel for overnight stay

In Aurangabad

In the morning, after breakfast, you will proceed for the tour to Ellora caves. Ellora is an archaeological site, 30 km (18.6 miles) from the city of Aurangabad built by the Rashtrakuta Dynasty. Famous for its monumental caves, Ellora is also a World Heritage Site. Ellora represents the epitome of architecture. The 34 “caves” actually structures excavated out of the vertical face of the Charanandri hills being Buddhist, Hindu and Jain cave temples and monasteries.

Aurangabad - Delhi

Transfer to airport to board flight to Delhi. Arrive and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Delhi

In Delhi

Start the day with Old Delhi was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Here you will view Red Fort, the most Opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. Also visit Raj Ghat, the memorial site of the Mahatma Gandhi; Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India; and Chandni Chowk, the bustling and colorful market of the old city. New Delhi Lutyens designed an "Imperial City" having Palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. Visit to Qutub Minar. Drive pass through the Raisina Hill, past the imposing India Gate and Parliament House. Evening return to the Red Fort to watch the “Son et Lumire” show which is Interplay of colorful lights and sound tracing the history of monument till date. Overnight stay

Delhi - Agra 200 Kms

Today visit to Agra Fort built by Akbar the Great and the city. Also visit the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah built by Empress Noor Jehan in the memory of Her Father. Enjoy the Magnificent Taj Mahal – The Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunset, which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day.

Agra – Jaipur 232 Kms

On today’s drive through the Rajasthani countryside we see villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region, Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives. En route visit Ghostly deserted red sandstone city of Fatehpur Sikri, built in 1569 by the Great Emperor Akbar. Today it is deserted & left in solitude to reminisce over its past glory. Arrive home to the Incredible Taj Mahal. Overnight stay in Jaipur

In Jaipur

Morning visit the 17th century fortress of Amber Fort - marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort ascended on Caparisoned Elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings Afternoon visit to maharaja’s City Palace - where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art. The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armory of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions, Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726 A.D.), Birla White Marble temple and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires Overnight stay

Jaipur – Ajmer / Pushkar 130 Kms

Full day tour visiting Pushkar, various temples and the sacred Pushkar Lake. The Pushkar Camel Fair is world famous & normally is during the months of October or November. The only Brahma Temple in the world exists in this small town. Overnight in Ajmer

Ajmer – Udaipur 310 Kms

Drive to Udaipur and transfer to hotel. Overnight in Udaipur

Ajmer – Udaipur

Today sightseeing of Udaipur includes The City Palace, drive around Fateh Sagar Lake, Sahelion-ki-Bari (The fountainhead and flowered garden of Maidens), and Partap Smarak: A memorial to the legendary warrior Rana Pratap, Bhartiya Lok Mandal Museum. Later fly to Mumbai to connect the flight for onward destination.
