Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. After breakfast visit Old Delhi. It was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Shah Jehan possessing an exquisite talent, especially in architecture, created the seventh city and in the process brought about Delhi's glorious renaissance. Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shah Jehan's symbol of power and elegance, built behind red sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the perpetually congested avenue heading west from the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded bazaars. If you peer through a portico you may see a man getting shaved, silver being weighed, or any other conceivable form of intense commerce.

In the afternoon, visit New Delhi. It was designed and built by the British in the 1920's-it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi. The King's architects, Lutyens and Baker, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's eight cities - New Delhi. Lutyens designed an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947. You will visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. drive pass through the Raisina Hill, ceremonial avenue past the imposing India Gate, Government Buildings, President House and Parliament House. Patan - Nawalgarh 95 kms / 2h 30m

After breakfast, proceed for Nawalgarh. It was founded in the 18th Century by Nawal Singh, it has some of the finest frescoes in the Shekhawati region. A huge fort with a colorful bazaar and numerous havelies with elaborate architecture make it an interesting destination. There are a few prominent havelies like Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Aath Haveli, Hodh Raj Patodia Haveli etc., which are to be visited. Morning leave for Ranakpur – one of the biggest and most important Jain temples, built in the 15th century in the lovely valley of Aravalis. It has grand structure & beautiful Sculptures. In the afternoon, take the bullock cart, it will be perhaps the greenest and quirkiest ride you will find in Ranakpur to see glimpses of the village life. Ranakpur - Deogarh 94 kms / 2 hrs

After breakfast drive to Deogarh, the region is famous for its spectacular forts, palaces and Jain temples. In the afternoon, you can relax by the pool or take a stroll in the surrounding villages to explore the unexplored rural Rajasthan.

In contrast to its desert neighborhood it stands out with an enchanting image of white marble palaces, placid blue lakes, gardens and temples surrounded by hills and mountains. Afternoon sightseeing of Udaipur includes The City Palace – this is the largest palace complex in Rajasthan, construction of which was started by Udai Singh. This white marble architectural marvel, standing majestically on a hill is surrounded by crenellated walls. This huge edifice 30.4 meters high and 244 meters long was added on to, by later rulers, but the additions are so well planned and integrated, it is difficult to believe that it was not conceived as complete structure, then Visit Sahelion-ki-Bari or “Garden of the Maids of Honour” was laid out for a group of forty-eight young women attendants who accompanied a princess to Udaipur as part of dowry, Partap Smarak: A memorial to the legendary warrior Rana Pratap, Bhartiya Lok Mandal Museum – a museum of folk arts, it displays a rich collection of folk musical instruments and paintings. Udaipur - Dungarpur 105 kms / 2 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Dungarpur – the diversity of nature unfolds in this hill town situated at the foothills of the Aravalis. Dungarpur was founded in 1282 A. D.   by Rawal Veer Singh. The region offers varied flora and fauna and an interesting topography, ranging from wild and rugged terrain in the north-east to fertile alluvial plains in the South-West. Complementing the scenic landscapes are the magnificent rivers-Mahi and Som. The town is a visual delight during monsoons. Also famous are lacquer painted toys and picture frames. Dungarpur - Chittorgarh - Bijaipur 255 kms / 4h 30m

After breakfast drive to Bijaipur. En route visit Chittorgarh and visit the Fort  - standing tall over a 180 metre high hillock and sprawling over 700 acres, the fort is a standing edifice to the valour of Chittorgarh, Vijay Stambh or Victory Tower – built by Rana Kumbha in 1440 AD to commemorate his victory over the combined forces of the kings of neighboring Malwa and Gujarat, this tower is 120 feet high and has a girth of 30 feet at the base, Kirti Stambh – built in the 12th century, it was dedicated to Lord Sri Adinath Rishabdeo, the first Jain Tirthankar. The 22 meter high structure is peplete with figures from the Jain pantheon.


Arrive Bijaipur, the base for the Mina tribes. The village is located beside a lake. Castle Bijaipur – built in 16th century. The Castle reflects a life style of Mewar. Bijaipur - Kota 160 kms / 3 hrs

Morning drive to Kota- known as the industrial capital of Rajasthan, It has an interesting blend of the Old and the New. The fort, overlooking the mighty Chambal River, is the foremost tourist attraction here.
