Delhi stands as the capital of Modern India. Here you can see the mingling of the Old and New India, the ancient and the modern. Delhi is made up of seven ancient cities, spanning the period from the 11th to 20th centuries. Delhi has seen the rise and fall of many emperors, which have left behind a plethora of monuments that commemorate the grandeur and glory of bygone ages. Very few cities in the world can express such a profusion of architectural styles. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Delhi

After breakfast visit Old Delhi. It was an ancient walled city. Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan in 1650 switched the Mughal capital from Agra to Delhi. Shah Jehan possessing an exquisite talent, especially in architecture, created the seventh city and in the process brought about Delhi's glorious renaissance. Here you will see Red Fort, the most opulent Fort and Palace of the Mughal Empire. The fort is Shah Jehan's symbol of power and elegance, built behind red sandstone walls. Its main gate (Lahore Gate) faces Chandni Chowk, the perpetually congested avenue heading west from the Red Fort, is filled with twisting lanes, small streets and crowded bazaars. If you peer through a portico you may see a man getting shaved, silver being weighed, or any other conceivable form of intense commerce.

Afternoon visit New Delhi. It was designed and built by the British in the 1920's-it's a city of wide boulevards impressive Government buildings, green parks and gardens. In 1911 King George V announced the transfer of the capital from Calcutta to Delhi. The King's architects, Lutyens and Baker, set in motion the Design and construction of Delhi's eight cities - New Delhi. Lutyens designed an "Imperial City" having palatial-sized buildings set amid broad tree-lined avenues punctuated by Mughal style gardens, complete with fountains and shallow pools. It took 20 years to complete this immense undertaking only to have the British pack up and relinquish the subcontinent in 1947. You will visit two monuments from Delhi's past - Humayun's Tomb and Qutub Minar. drive pass through the Raisina Hill, ceremonial avenue past the imposing India Gate, Government Buildings, President House and Parliament House. Delhi - Nawalgarh 245 kms / 6 hrs

After breakfast , proceed for Nawalgarh. It was founded in the 18th Century by Nawal Singh, it has some of the finest frescoes in the Shekhawati region. A huge fort with a colorful bazaar and numerous havelies with elaborate architecture make it an interesting destination. There are a few prominent havelies like Anandilal Poddar Haveli, Aath Haveli, Hodh Raj Patodia Haveli etc., which are to be visited. The palace hotel Roop Niwas is a beautiful heritage property and is provided with modern facilities. The palace offers spacious painted rooms, luxurious interiors, graceful hospitality and thematic evenings with sumptuous cuisine. Nawalgarh - Jaipur 150 kms / 2h 30m

Morning countryside drive to Jaipur, once the capital of Rajasthan province, "the abode of rajahs". Everywhere you will see the monuments of its Rajput rulers. It has the distinction of being a well-planned and laid out city. As you drive through the old part of town, you will witness a life most unlike others. Witness how the city blooms during the day in a kaleidoscope of colour and sound. Jaipur is one of the main centers for shopping in India -- especially with regard to textiles, Jewellery, stones carpets, etc. Upon arrival check in at the hotel.

Later visit Sanganer village situated on the outskirts of Jaipur. Look at the Jain temple from the 17th century and visit the traditional wood block printing, tie and dye fabric, paper factory and blue pottery that make the reputation of the craftsmanship of the city rose. Jaipur

After breakfast, visit the 17th century fortress of Amber Fort - marvelous example of Rajput architecture with its terraces and ramparts reflected in the Maota Lake below. Go up the fort ascended on Caparisoned Elephant true to the style of the Maharajas of the past. The interiors of the fort have various royal halls decorated with intricate ivory, mirror and glasswork complemented by exquisite wall paintings.

Afternoon, visit to Maharaja’s City Palace - where you can see an imposing blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal Art, The museum is resplendent with its collection of robes of royal princes, carpets, an armory of old weapons, miniature paintings portraying court scenes, battle scenes and processions, Jantar Mantar (an accurate observatory built in 1726 A.D.), Birla White Marble temple and Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) - a five storied wonder with a spectacular pyramidal facade and overhanging windows with latticed screens, domes and spires Evening time to walk in local Market. Jaipur - Abhaneri - Fatehpur Sikri - Agra 220 kms / 4 hrs

After breakfast drive to Agra through the Rajasthani countryside we see villages, woman dressed in the brilliantly colored saris of the region, Camels, Elephants & scenes of rural lives.

En route visit Abhaneri, one of the biggest baolis of Rajasthan. This vertiginous well was a source of freshness for noble families in the region.

Also visit Ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri - the deserted red sandstone city that was built by Emperor Akbar as his capital. Ponder the mysterious desertion of this capital city that was dramatically abandoned a few years after it was built. It was a veritable fairy tale city and its 'ruins' are still in a pristine condition. It is not hard to imagine what the court life must have been like in the days of its grandeur of Shah Jehan, mastermind of the unforgettable Taj Mahal. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Agra

After breakfast visit to Agra Fort built by Akbar the Great and the city. Also visit the tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah built by Empress Noor Jehan in the memory of Her Father.

 

Evening take Horse cart (Tonga Ride) to the Magnificent Taj Mahal – The New 7 wonder of the world and Monument of Love in the warm glow of Sunset, which was built in 1630 by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan as a tomb for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Construction of the Taj Mahal began in 1631, and is believed to have taken 18 years to complete, with over 20,000 craftsmen working around the clock. The design and construction is said to be that of the legendary architect, Ustad Ahamad Lahori, what makes the Taj Mahal unique is its perfect proportions, distinct femininity, medium of construction and ornamentation.  Its marble exterior reflects rose and golden tints at sunrise and sunset, while it is dazzling white during the day. It is impossible to visualize the Taj Mahal in any surrounding others than its paradoxical garden. Paradise, in Islam, is visualized as a lush garden where running streams flow. When the Mughal brought this concept to India they elevated it to heights of Incomparable artistry.

Agra - Delhi - Kathmandu

After breakfast, drive back to Delhi International airport to board the flight for Kathmandu. Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal and the Kathmandu Valley is the political and cultural heart of the Kingdom. The urban sprawl that makes up modern Kathmandu is in fact two cities, Patan and Kathmandu. Upon arrival, meet and greet with our representative and transfer to hotel. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Kathmandu

After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing with our expert guide. Visit Pashupatinath &
Boudhanath.


Pashupatinath: The holiest of holy Hindu temple in south Asia is the focal point of pilgrimage from  all over the sub-continent. The holy river Bagmati flowing nearby is the cremation ground of the Hindus. Funeral pyres can be viewed from across the river.

Boudhanath: Probably the largest stupa in the world is also found in Kathmandu valley-the great stupa of Bouddhanath. Again the Omni-sighted eyes of the Buddha stare all the directions. This Stupa is the place of worship of Tibetan Buddhists predominantly.

Kathmandu

After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Swayambhunath and Patan Durbar Square.


Swayambhunath: It is situated in the west of Kathmandu city on the top of the hill. The huge Stupa is one of the holiest Buddhist site in Nepal and is listed as a world heritage site.


You will be taken take you for a visit to Patan. Also known as Lalitpur, the city of beauty is separated from Kathmandu only by the Bagmati River and is the second largest town in the valley. Lalitpur is fragmented from other cities due to its substantive architectural ancient masterpieces.


Patan's central Durbar Square is absolutely packed with temples: Its an architectural center point with a far greater concentration of temples per sq. meter than in Kathamandu or Bhaktapur. Within the city also lies the Tibetan refugee center, home to most of the valley's Tibetan population.  While technically refugees, the Tibetans are some of the wealthiest people in the valley because of the carpet industry they operate.  For those looking to bring home a fine Tibetan carpet, this is the place to shop. Kathmandu - Chitwan 180 Kms / 6 hrs

After breakfast, drive to Chitwan Observe the beautiful river valley of Marshyangdi to the west, and Trisuli to the South. Enjoy a striking scenic view of the Manaslu- Himalchuli and Annapurna ranges, and the deep and terraced valleys.  Enjoy with Photography at Natural Scenic Spots. Chitwan National Park

Wake up call followed by tea or coffee, and then proceed for a Nature Walk, This encounter on foot with the environment will introduce the main features of eastern Chitwan- Sal forest, open grassland and reverie jungle. Our guides will help you identify some species of birds, plants and other wildlife that you may encounter. After breakfast, proceed for Elephant- safari: Guests will ride on an elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife you will be able to see the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours. Lunch will be serving around.

After lunch, there is Canoeing Trip: A traditional dugout canoe takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds and the animals of the riverbanks. Back to the hotel through the Jungle. In the evening, Tharu Stick dance show: Farmers of the nearby villages will show some of their traditional skills and dances.  Overnight stay at the hotel.

Chitwan - Pokhara

After breakfast, fly to Pokhara valley to see one of the most beautiful Himalayan panoramas in the world. The Annapurna and famous "Fishtail" mountain peak of Machhapuchhre over the tropical setting of Pokhara will be the scenic highlight of your trip. You're free in Pokhara valley also called "Magic Land" or Dreamland" of Nepal, to explore the various interesting place as your own like boating in Phewa Lake, overlooking the region of Annapurna rang of Himalayas. Pokhara

After breakfast enjoy the city tour of Pokhara.

Gupteswar Mahadev – Cave lies in the southern end of the city, it is just 2 kms from Central Pokhara. The entrance is right across from Devi's fall and the cave is nearly about 3 kms long. The cave has got both the narrow and wide spaces inside it. One can have an astonishing view of Devi’s fall from inside the cave except in rainy seasons. The cave is provided with artificial lighting systems. The cave is also an important religious site for Hindus.

Devi’s Fall – Locally known as Patale Chhango (Hell's fall), Devi’s fall is one of the major tourist destinations in Pokhara. It is just 2 km away from Central Pokhara. It is an awesome waterfall and you can’t stop yourself saying ‘WOW’. Devi’s fall plunges into a cave and disappears into the earth. In the monsoon, the sight is most spectacular. This fall is also known as Davy's fall, David's fall or Davis's fall, scale scenery of the lake and amazing reflection of the Annapurna and Fishtail Mountains on the surface of the lake. Seti George – The deepest George made by River seti. Bindabashani Temple – The oldest temple of Pokhara City. Renovated in 20th Century.

Barahi Temple – Lying on the island of the middle of the Phewa Lake, the Barahi temple is the most important monument in Pokhara. This two-storyed pagoda is dedicated to the boar manifestation of Ajima, representative of the force of Goddess Durga. Barahi is pictured with the face of a boar with a cup in one hand and fish in the other. Devotees can be seen carrying male animals across the lake for sacrifice, especially on Saturdays.

Phewa Lake – The second largest lake in the country covering an area of about 4.43 km2 (1.7 sq mi) is the center of attraction for every person visiting Pokhara. It is the largest among the eight lakes lying in Pokhara. One can sail or row a hired boat across the lake or visit Barahi Temple situated on the island located in the lake. The lake is ideal for relaxation, boating and viewing the mountains as well. One can also fish in the lake but be sure that you are fishing at the right place. Reflection of Machhapuchhre (Mount Fishtail) in the lake makes you feel more exciting. So, don’t just read this, pack up your luggage and be there to exploit the natural beauty. The eastern shore of the lake, popularly known as lakeside or Baidam, is the favorite home base for travellers and consists of endless strip of lodges, restaurants, bookshops, souvenir shops, internet cafes etc. Leisure Boating in Fewa Lake.
