Srirangapatna Fort was built in the year 1454, by Timmanna Nayaka at the time of Tipu Sultan’s rule.Mysore is a beautiful city of stately palaces, gardens, parks and museums. Today your tour of Mysore includes visit to Mysore palace, Chamundi hill, and the colourful and aromatic spice market. At Chamundi hill, you will find Nandi, a monolithic image of Shiva's Bull, which is always garlanded with flowers and held in high esteem by Hindus. Your afternoon is at leisure. After breakfast drive to Wayanad, it is one of the districts in Kerala that has been able to retain its pristine nature. Hidden away in the hills of this land are some of the oldest tribes, as yet untouched by civilization. Wayanad is known for its picturesque mist clad hill stations, sprawling spice plantations, luxuriant forests and rich cultural traditions.Enjoy a visit to other tourist attractions such as Nanjangud, Kalpetta, Edakkal caves. Afternoon take a short excursion to Sultan Bathery passing through thick forest of rubber, tea, oranges, coffee estate & other cash crops. Sultan Bathery name was derived by Tipu Sultan, who built a fort here. Later visit the Tipu Sultan fort, Jain temple and Banasura Sagar dam, this is the largest earth dam in India. After breakfast drive to Alappuzha to meet your way own floating hotel. Cruise the backwaters & explore the rural life in & around Alleppey to Kumarakom.Kettuvalam - An Authentic Kerala Houseboat - the moving master piece, have been plying the inland waterways of southwest India for untold centuries and originally used as cargo rice boats. The fully furnished and palm covered boats (single & double) bedrooms with attached bath, sit out, kitchen and living room made of traditional wood.
