Healing Traditions
There is a spiritual source in India which is at this time exerting a powerful influence on the Western world. In contrast to the Western System of Medicine, Traditional System of Healing in India, as in other ancient cultures, approach thickness as a dynamic event in the life of an individual. It is this result of this harmony between the sick person and his/her environment. Under this approach to understanding illness, "the disease" itself has no independent reality.
More and more people are moving away from modern medicines and turning towards traditional, also refereed to as "alternative", systems of medicine. Today one can choose from various systems of alternative medicine, be it Acupuncture, Aromatherapy, Meditation, Ayurveda, Unani medicine, Mud therapy, Pranic healing, Reiki method, Tibetan medicine and many more.

Panchakarma therapy has three main stages : Poorvakarma, Pradhanakarma and Paschatkarma. Poorvakarma, the first stage, comprises essential preliminary procedures for preparing the body to unload stored toxins. The treatment help to loosen Ama (toxins) and move it out to the deep structures into the GI tract, where Panchakarma's cleaning therapies can then eliminate it. Pradhanakarma is the second stage and includes the main cleansing therapies. Paschatkarma is the final stage and describes the measures employed after the main treatment, such as diet, medicines and daily routine.
