WELCOME SILVER SAND HOLIDAY VILLAGE (BUDGET HOTEL NORTH GOA)

The Silver Sands is in a superb location just 100m from Candolim Beach, a mere two minutes' walk away. Surrounded by bars, restaurants, stalls, shops, tailor; you name it, there's so much within walking distance. The hotel is at the bottom corner of a busy lane, which leads right onto the beach and offers the alternative of a swimming pool surrounded by a few sun beds shaded by coconut trees.

ACCOMODATION

All rooms have air-conditioning included, TV, fridge, ceiling fan, en-suite shower and WC, and a balcony or terrace and are based on a Bed & Continental Breakfast basis. Safety deposit boxes are available in reception (payable locally), plus facilities such as money exchange and an international telephone. This hotel is well established and many people come year after year. Agnelo, who runs the hotel, was voted in as the local sarpanch, which is equivalent to mayor. DINNING

It has three restaurants, one offering multi-cuisine and a bar, the Angara B-B-Q and the Sheetal, which has a superb Indian menu and is always popular with the hotel guests as well as holidaymakers staying in other hotels. Jewel in the Crown's allocation of rooms is in the new block at the far end of the complex with access directly onto the lane to the beach.
