Kanha Jungle Lodge is just a short walk from Kanha National Park, Mukki Entrance Gate. It provides visitors with a truly exciting and rewarding jungle experience. The Lodge nestled in 11 acres Estate of thick mature Sal forest, providing an ideal setting for bird watching, of special interest to natural – history oriented traveler.

ACCOMODATION

The Lodge offers 12 spacious cozy and comfortable Cottages, and 8 rooms, to make a total of 20 rooms, all in a typical Indian village theme. They have modern facilities including attached bathroom and shower with running hot and cold water and comfortable furniture.

Elephant excursions
We organize excursions by elephants to enable you to get close to the animals specially the Tigers, incase we have missed seeing them from our jeeps, as it enables us to trek in the forest of the Jungle roads. It is also a great experience of riding an elephant through the Indian Jungle, through thick bamboo forest, and over Streams. It is one of the best transport systems that exist today in these areas inaccessible by man. They are unique and easily accepted by the animal world as part of them, thus allows the elephants in close proximity to the tiger. Apart from the morning tiger safari on the elephant, there is also the possibility of elephant’s excursions in the evening.

Village Safari
For those who are interested in exploring India's rural area, we organize a Village safari to visit some villages and understand their way of life, which is very unique and different to our city life. Their simple homes, colorful attire and traditional ways of cooking, cultivation are being is an eye opener.
