bordering the jungle with 12 well-appointed thatched cottages. Constructed to provide the feel
of a jungle camp, with large wrap-around veranda’s, Raj-style furnishings and modern, spacious
bathrooms, the cottages offer understated luxury and privacy.
LOCATION
Jim’s Jungle Retreat is a 6 hours drive from New Delhi.
Take the NH. 24 to Moradabad via Hapur, and Simbhaoli. Once you cross Moradabad, take a
left turn onto NH 74 to Ramnagar via Thakurdwara and Kashipur. As you are about to enter
Ramnagar town there is a sharp turn left to Jim Jungle’s retreat that lies 11 km ahead.
The nearest railhead is Ramnagar (11km). The nearest International airport is New Delhi
300 km away.

feel of a jungle camp, with large wrap – around Verandahs, Raj – Style furnishing and modern
spacious bathrooms, the cottages offer understated luxury privacy.
Built with local materials, mainly, they are comfortable, with all modern- conveniences,
yet simple, and close to nature in design. The huts have attached modern bathrooms, the
rooms are spacious and there is a private verandah to sit out on to enjoy the sights and
sounds of the jungle.

Our dinning area, open to the frosted surroundings, offers delicious Indian Food from the hill – country hearth, Raj – era recipes and European Cuisine.
JUNGLE ACTIVITIES
Our Safari Packages guided by qualified naturalists, include elephant and jeep rides through
the very jungles the Legendry Corbett roamed. Specially designed nature walks, horseback and
mountain – bike safaris enable one to breathe the heady – rich air of the stately Sal
forests and the grassy ‘Chaurs’ while tracking the park’ s numerous bird and animal species.
We also offer an exclusive stay at our four-bedroom Kanda Jungle Lodge, one hilltop away
from the Kanda FRH, at an altitude of over 1000 meters above sea level. At Kanda, you will
experience breathtaking 360-degree views of CTR by day, and the stunning night sky, a
natural planetarium by night. Kanda’s wonders also come with history. Jim Corbett, in fact,
shot the ‘infamous’ man-eating tiger of Kanda a stone’s throw away from the property’s entry
gate.
HOTEL FACILITIES
Wild Flowers and bushes, fruiting trees and water bodies give natural cover to bird life at
the retreat. Hours can be spent sitting out on a verandah or at one of the many. Viewing
dotting the 10 acres retreat, or lounge beside the swimming pool, rejuvenate with Ayurveda
at the massage rooms, read up on your surroundings at our sitting room.
