Bangaram Beach Tour A matchless sense of well being takes over & one begins to discover the graceful fishes, porcupines, parrots, puffer fishes, hermit crabs & sea birds on the vast 120 acres of lush coconut groves in Bangaram. There are numerous adventures like scuba diving, beach games, swimming, snorkeling & deep-sea fishing. The resort is 60 bedded beach cottages with a multi cuisine restaurant. A well stocked bar is also available. Agatti is the gateway to Bangaram & is linked to Cochin for onward flights to metros.
Fringed by a continous silvery beach is the Bangaram Island Resort which
lies in 128 acres of tropical paradise. The Resort is encircled by a
logoon 10 km long and 6 km wide consisting of an area of approximately 40
sq. km. With the exception of the Resort, Bangaram is totally uninhabited.
The lagoons around the islands are beautiful and clear, offering excellent
opportunities for swimming, snorkeling and sun bathing. The island of
Bangaram is the only resort developed for accommodation and watersports
and it is possible to cruise around the island. For dedicated anglers
there is tuna fishing and for marine-life lovers, there are glass-bottom
boats available. The water is crystal clear and immensely rich in a
variety of sealife including coral. The Resort has 30 huts with walls of
bamboo thatched with palm fronds. There is restaurant, a bar and a lounge.
Regualr air service operate from Cochin to Agatti thrice a week. From
Agattim the resort operates baot services to Bangaram
