At recreation Travel we rejoice in giving your guests a true taste of the exotic places they are visiting. We greet them with welcome ceremonies they cannot experience anywhere else in the world. We treat them to lunches and dinners, rich in mouth-watering culinary delicacies served in unparalleled settings. From royal themes to modern day fantasies, every location is set in a unique theme adding a special flavor to the event. Events & Themes.
Welcome Ceremony At The Airport. The smart and presentable representative of "Recreation Tours & Travels" will greet each member with a marigold garland and a cheerful smile. After immigration/customs clearance you arrive into the visitors' arrival area, you will be greeted by a welcome banner with the sponsoring logo and Welcome message (subject to Airport Authority Permission).
Welcome Ceremony at Hotel. An auspicious and ceremonial welcome at the hotel with Shenaii music in the background. Guests are greeted in the lobby of the hotel with a ritual called "aarti" followed by "tikka" and each member is garlanded followed by Welcome drinks will be served on arrival while keys are being distributed. Welcome drink could be Coconut Milk, India Sherbat, Nimboo Pani (Lime Juice) or perhaps a slightly potent cocktail.

On your arrival at the hotel you are greeted by welcome banners with the sponsoring Company's logo etc. at the main lobby and behind the hospitality desk. A floral design of the Company is also displayed in the lobby along with traditional 'Rangoli' and brass better-lamp
Royal Welcome Procession. In Jaipur, we recreate the ambience of the traditional welcome accorded to victorious Rajput warriors, greeting your clients with decorated camels and elephants on the lawns of palaces or hotels, while costumed Rajasthani ladies greet them with the traditional oil lamp, and garland them with flowers.
Lama Welcome. A special Nepal welcome awaits guests at the hotel in Katmandu by men dressed as Buddhist monks blowing their traditional prayer horns. All guests are greeted with the traditional Aarti-Tikka and draped with the traditional scarf of welcome.
The Picnic of Love. Imagine dining outdoors on a hillock overlooking the magnificent Taj Mahal in Agra. On the lush green lawns, colorful ‘khemas’ (decorated tents) are set up.
The Mughal Theme. Another great theme event at Agra. Royal gate-keepers usher guests in while hostesses welcome them with flowers and perfume into beautifully lit and decorated gardens. Folk dances precede an incredible spread of Mughlai foods fit for a king. Guests could also slip into Mughal costumes to get a real feel of the era and have a truly unforgettable evening.
The Gangaur Boat Cruise. What better way to spend an evening in Udaipur than to take a cruise around the mystical Lake Palace at Udaipur on the royal barge of the house of Mewar, Gangaur.
Exclusive Dinner at the Residence of the Jaipur Royal Family. For the select few, Creative Travel can organize a dinner in the private quarters of the palace of the Jaipur Royal family. Unseen by tourists, and unspoilt by time, dining in this exquisite room, decorated with mirrors and gold lacquer by the master craftsmen of the 18th Century, will undoubtedly be a once in a lifetime experience.
Special Gala Evening at the Samode Palace. A magical night awaits at a special dinner at the 300 year old Samode Palace. From the village gate, guests proceed to the palace in a royal procession on camels and camel carts, accompanied by soldiers holding fire torches. The sounds of drums and horns will fill the air. Traditional entertainment is followed by a lavish dinner, and the magnificent evening that comes to a dramatic end with an astounding display of fireworks.
Elephant and Horse Polo. The city of Jaipur is the historical home of polo. Guests of Creative Travel will relive the glory of this sport with a demonstration game of elephant or horse polo and trick riding. Guests can even participate in a match of skills on elephants. Special ceremonial bands will play and a lavish buffet will be laid out.
Peshwa Haveli’s Experience. An evening to discover the true magic of Varanasi. Dinner at the Amrit Rao Peshwa Haveli’s, a 19th Century mansion that stands on the banks of the holy river Ganges with steps leading down to the river adorned with thousands of tiny lamps. An evening made sweeter by the sounds of classical Hindustani music that Varanasi is famed for.
Bhaktapur Night. In the ancient capital of Nepal, Bhaktapur an evening in the outdoors, surrounded by breathtaking temples and pagodas awaits guests. An experience enriched by traditional Nepali ambience, cuisine and a special masked dance performance.

Bar Be Cue Dinner at Pool side. Bar Be Cue Dinner will be set up at hotel served at pool side followed by Local Traditional Uttaranchal state folk Dance and Music Bone fire. Overnight stay.
Seafood Bar Be Cue on Beach. Dine under a starlit sky on succulent lobsters. A Unique dining experience of grilled seafood, meats and vegetables on Cidade de Goa’s beach, accompanied by a band and limbo dancing.
Grand cruise dinner. Enjoy a moonlit cruise on the River Mandovi under Goa’s clear skies. Dine on local delicacies under the stars, while enjoying Goa Music, enhanced by the sounds of the sea. Goan Carnival Nite. The entire area is decorated with streamers, props, balloons etc to create an ambience of a Goan Carnival. For your entertainment we have a live band and the mega carnival troupe lead by King Momo marching to the tune of a brass band. King Momo will welcome everyone into his kingdom and declare the carnival open where the people will eat, drink, and dance and make merry.
Nepalese Evening. On the special evening of your arrival, a specially decorated hall of the hotel is reserved and you are welcomed by traditionally dressed Nepalese girls applying vermillion marks on your forehead and offering garland. A half-hour performance of Nepalese folk dances and music is followed by dinner served in the traditional Nepalese style by waiters in costume.
Mock Marriage Ceremony. A couple is chosen from the group and dressed in traditional wedding costumes of Northern India. The group is then divided into two Parties, the bride's which waits at the wedding location and welcome the groom's Party which arrives with the groom riding a liveried horse, accompanied by traditional music. Following the ceremony, a special Indian meal is served as a wedding feast for the guests. This can be arranged at any destination.
Shopping. India is truly a shopper's paradise. With a rich tradition of crafts, its bazaars & malls offer a wide range of handicrafts in ivory, brass, sandal wood, marble, silver & gold jewellery, silk & cotton fabric and hand woven carpets. We can organize special bazaars on your request & good purchase can be home delivered. |
